We are seeing all patients both in office and via telemedicine.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

As of May 11th 2021, all Massachusetts residents age 12 and above are eligible to receive the COVID19 vaccine. We highly recommend that our patients 12 years and above look into receiving this vaccine. At this time, the vaccine is available at Mass vaccination sites and retail pharmacies rather than our office. We hope to have the vaccine in our office in the future.

The best source to find a vaccine appointment is the state website: https://www.mass.gov/covid-19-vaccine . You may also look for an appointment at the local Lowell General site: https://lowellgeneralvaccine.com . You may also text your ZIPCODE to 438829 or call 1-800-232-0233 to find vaccine locations near you.

Children with allergies to foods or medications are still able to receive the vaccine and are not at a higher risk of allergic reaction. People who have had an anaphylactic reaction (allergic reaction requiring epinephrine) to a vaccine in the past should speak with us prior to receiving the vaccine.

Research regarding the COVID19 vaccine in pregnant and breastfeeding moms is ongoing. However, we know that vaccinated mothers can pass on protective antibodies to their babies through breastfeeding. Breastfeeding mothers can continue to breastfeed after receiving the vaccine.

To help protect our patients and staff we continue to:

  • Ask that all parents and children ages 2 and above wear a mask to the appointment. All Staff will be wearing a mask.
  • To allow for social distancing between patients, please call our office when you get to the parking lot for the appointment. We are staggering appointments to have only one patient checking in at a time.
  • Upon arrival at our office, a nurse will greet you at our office door to take the temperature of you and your child, as well as provide you with hand sanitizer.
  • We are pre-booking all future appointments. The nurse will provide you with the appointment card. If the appointment doesn’t work for your schedule, please call our office to reschedule.
  • Please notify our office by phone if you have any changes with insurance, address or phone number.
  • Please call our office ahead of time if you or any of your family members are experiencing any illness, such as, fever, cough, congestion, diarrhea or sore throat and we are happy to reschedule.

We are also providing a secure TELEMEDICINE option for patients unable to come into the office. Please call our office at (978) 256-2828 to schedule a telemedicine visit with your doctor via Doximity.

Thank you for your patience during this time. We are here and happy to answer any questions.
