Dr. Deborah Francis joined Drumhill Pediatrics in 2016. She comes with 16 years experience, practicing as a primary care pediatrician for UMASS Memorial Health Care in Sterling, Mass. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of primary care including special needs children and mental health issues such as ADHD, autism and anxiety. With many of her patients staying with her from birth, she enjoys being there every step of the way.

Dr. Francis takes particular pleasure in teaching preventive health, with a special emphasis on giving Moms and Dads the tools to be great parents. “There is nothing better than seeing a rested parent after I have helped them get their baby to sleep or a child who comes in proud of how he did in school after an appropriate intervention. “ Dr. Francis believes that an open, working relationship with kids and their families is the best way to deliver good health care.

Dr. Francis completed her pediatric internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She graduated from Wellesley College, summa cum laude, with a degree in biochemistry and from the University of Massachusetts Medical School with a Dean's Letter of Highest Recommendation.
