During her residency, she was a part of the Leadership in Equity and Advocacy track, where she developed advanced skills in advocating for children and families across the greater Boston area and beyond with specific time spent learning about caring for LGBTQ+ youth, school-based health and supports for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She has a longstanding commitment to primary care pediatrics and co-founded a primary care interest group during her training. Her clinical interests include language equity and inclusion, transitions of care for children with medical complexity, and adolescent medicine.
Prior to residency, Dr. Young-Sileo earned her undergraduate degree in Biology, graduating summa cum laude from Providence College, where she was also a member of the Honors Program. She subsequently received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Having lived in Massachusetts for the past several years, she considers it home; her husband is also originally from Natick.
As she begins her career in pediatric primary care, Dr. Young-Sileo is dedicated to partnering with families to support the health and well-being of their children both within and beyond the clinical setting. She is honored to serve the North Chelmsford community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with the families in her care.
